**Job Description -**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Accounting Manager in financial matters and reporting.
- Process invoices which include coding general ledger account numbers, obtaining proper approval, assigning vendor numbers, matching invoices to orders, and checking the dollar amount.
- Process employee expense reimbursements and credit card statements.
- Obtain W-9 as needed from vendors and assists with 1099 preparation.
- Research Regional Center (RC) Payments in RC websites, make an excel worksheet of all payments and post the RC deposits in SAGE.
- Match Regional Center deposits with the actual EFT in the bank.
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations, currently, for five (5) Bank Accounts.
- Clerical duties include but are not limited to, scanning documents, and filing according to each entity.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of debits, credits, and generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience with SAGE or similar financial software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The incumbent will need to be a team player, adaptable, energetic, and self-directed.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferably must have Associate Degree (AS) with concentration in Accounting or High School Diploma but with at least two (2) years’ work experience in Accounting.
- Knowledge of basis accounting principles.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Strong Attention to Details
- The demonstration of ethical and professional conduct, including the ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
- The incumbent is expected to follow all company policies and procedures, as outlined in Company Handbook and other written documents.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
