Nail Artist

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Guest Service - Welcoming guests and assisting them with their service selection and color selection
- Artistic Process - Consulting the client through the artistic process
- Time Management - Ability to work with within the time limits provided
- Empathy - Taking an understanding approach to guests needs
- Care - Caring for tools and equipment as well as people and the place you work at
- Professionalism - Upholding standards including sterilization, cleanliness and teamwork
- Client Relations - Building a regular clientele through requests, revisits and members
- Working on influencers, VIP guests, editors, fashion shows and photo shoots

**Experience**:

- 1+ years of salon experience as a Nail Artist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in a variety of nail techniques including acrylics, gels, BIAB
- NYS Nail Specialty or Trainee license
- A passion for beauty services and beauty industry
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Special consideration will be given to those who have experience training others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

License/Certification:

- Cosmetology License (preferred)
- Nail Technician License (required)
