**THE POSITION**:
Are you a detail-oriented person who has a strong interest in helping others? The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is looking for a Criminal Justice Systems Specialist 2 to join our Office of Victims' Services, Victims Compensation Assistance Program.

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As a Criminal Justice Systems Specialist 2, you will serve in a principal position within the PCCD management structure. You will administer, provide oversight, and supervise staff and leadership of the Victims' Compensation Assistance Program. This position works in coordination with higher level management to improve the overall compensation processes throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In this position, you will exercise significant independence in carrying out the mission of the program consistent with federal and state laws and regulations, and with the guidance from the Victims’ Services Advisory Committee (VSAC) appointed by law to guide victim services in Pennsylvania.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week)
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- ** Telework**: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to (4) days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- This position qualifies for retirement at age 60 or 65.
- Free on-street parking is available.
- ** Salary**:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year as a Criminal Justice System Specialist 1; **or**
- Two years of professional experience in criminal or juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services, and a bachelor’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field; **or**:

- One year of professional experience in criminal or juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services, and a master’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:
