We are currently seeking a dedicated team member to contribute to the creation of a warm and inviting ambiance for our esteemed guests.

Job Summary:
Joining our hotel team as a vital member, you will be instrumental in upholding exceptional cleanliness standards across our property, ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional stay. Directly reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include overseeing a team, managing schedules, procuring supplies, and ensuring seamless daily operations.

Main Duties:

- Supervise and lead a team to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel.
- Coordinate schedules, procure necessary supplies, and ensure team compliance with established standards.
- Cultivate a positive work environment by fostering effective communication and active listening.
- Demonstrate leadership through initiative, autonomy, and teamwork.
- Approach challenges with good judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to craft memorable guest experiences.
- Maintain composure under pressure, multitask effectively, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.

**Compensation**:
$20 - $22 hourly

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure regular attendance and punctuality to distribute workload fairly among the team members.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet hotel and guest needs, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication skills to uphold appropriate interactions with guests and coworkers.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions from supervisors and managers effectively.
- Uphold safety compliance standards to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Display a positive attitude by being courteous, polite, and helpful to guests and colleagues in line with company values.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including privacy standards for guests.
- Lead and manage team members in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper by providing training, coaching, and feedback.
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction are met.
- Provide hands-on assistance to staff in cleaning and maintaining the hotel, including performing Room Attendant duties.
- Maintain accurate records of discrepancies found in guest rooms for training purposes.
- Oversee housekeeping closets and the performance of housemen to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking.
- Manage laundry operations, including inventory of chemicals, cleaning, organizing, and handling reclaimed items.

**Qualifications**:

- The Housekeeping Supervisor in Stowe, VT, US should possess strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic computer skills.
- Sharing knowledge and instructing team members on task performance is a crucial requirement for the role.
- Excellent customer service and effective communication with both guests and team members are essential qualities.
- Supervisory experience of 1-3 years is mandatory for this position.
- A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is a basic requirement.
- Performance evaluation will be based on ongoing feedback from the supervisor, attendance, productivity, feedback from peers, guest reviews, and scores.
- Physical demands include extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and kneeling, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
