**Position Overview**: As a Sales & Decommission Specialist at OFR, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business initiatives within the Chicago area. This position entails project management, relationship building, and on-site work to effectively manage office furniture decommissioning projects. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is curious and eager to learn about the office furniture business, passionate about sustainability, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and cultivate relationships with Chicago area businesses and nationwide furniture dealers to generate new leads and opportunities for decommissioning and wholesale projects.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, including coordinating logistics, overseeing on-site operations, and ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Conduct thorough site visits to assess project requirements, provide accurate estimates, and address any client concerns.
- Work with our network of furniture dealers and wholesale partners to sell furniture nationwide.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business growth opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management. Prior furniture experience not required; we will train
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
