Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant and Student Veterinary Technicians to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will provide support to our veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering exceptional care to our animal patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal welfare and veterinary medicine.

**Duties**:

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical suites for procedures
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Assisting with radiographs.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures
- Provide post-operative care instructions to pet owners
- Assist with grooming, bathing, and general pet care as needed

Qualifications:

- Veterinary Assistant Experience IS Required
- Knowledge of pet care, animal restraint, and basic veterinary procedures
- Ability to handle animals with care, compassion, and patience
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
