**Position Focus**:

- Operating as part of the Academic Classrooms and Events Support team, and with great latitude for independent judgment, the Classroom Technology & Media Coordinator 1 consults with faculty, students and professional staff regarding the use of technology in support of academic instruction, research and University events.

**Essential Duties**

**Required Education and Experience**
- Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and a high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

**Required Skill/Ability 1**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused AV environment.

**Required Skill/Ability 2**:

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible and remain open to learning new technology that maybe implemented.

**Required Skill/Ability 3**:

- Proven ability to multitask and handle multiple AV needs concurrently throughout the campus.

**Required Skill/Ability 4**:

- Ability to work with video conferencing, webcasting and course capture technologies such as Zoom and Panopto.

**Preferred Education, Experience and Skills**:

- Experience working in an academic environment.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

**Preferred Licenses or Certifications**:

- CTS certification
