Dispatch Assistant

We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to work closely with our drivers and is the key liaison between our customers and our office. You must be able to multi-task and take the appropriate action with little supervision. We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can think outside the box.

**What You Will Do**:

- Verify trip ticket calculations, write trip tickets for specific customers, and record for billing preparation.
- Collect and calculate time sheets by verifying hours daily.
- Create route sheets, maps, and job sheets for operators.
- Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support and assist customers.
- Answer and manage incoming calls with customers.
- Accurately document calls on phone log.
- Build clear and prompt communication with customers, Sales Team, Estimating, and others within the organization.

**What You Will Bring**:

- Two years of dispatch experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Excel, and Word).
- Good math skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as legible handwriting.
- Attention to detail, maintaining schedules, and managing deadlines.
- Ability to handle pressure and different task assignments.
