**ASSISTANT CONTROLLER Job Description**

In Charge Electrical Services LLC is seeking an experienced, achievement-oriented Assistant Controller to help manage all aspects of the finance and accounting functions for the Company. The position will report to the CFO and will work out of our new HQ building in the Riata office park. This is an in office role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting department operations including all reporting, proper revenue and cost recognition, working capital transaction management, liquidity and cash reporting, payroll processing and employee benefits, inventory valuations, cost controls, and risk management
- Supervise and direct accounting staff members
- Coordinate the preparation of annual operating budget and financial forecast variances
- Prepare various account reconciliations during month end close.
- Prepare and publish monthly GAAP financial statements on timely basis
- Supervise distribution of all other internal management reports on timely basis
- Support month-end and year-end general ledger process using accounting software
- Be the main contact for the annual audit and tax return process with CPA firm
- Interface with senior lending institution and maintain compliance with loan covenants
- Comply with state and federal government reporting requirements and filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Streamline accounting processes using technology
- Maintain capital asset records and depreciation
- Develop and implement KPIs, manage internal data collection and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for Board of Directors meetings.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience with processing monthly internal financial statements and related balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience with payroll processing and employee benefits administration
- Excellent administration and organizational skills. Ability to solve problems autonomously
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high integrity
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong skills in EXCEL software
- Inventory experience
- Ability to institute and monitor cost controls and identify cost savings
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sr. Accountant or an Assistant Controller
- Minimum 8 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
