**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
- As a Corrections Maintenance Foreman, you will provide oversight to inmate work crews surrounding the performance of various maintenance, repair, construction, grounds keeping, and janitorial tasks in and around the SCI. Efficient organizational skills are utilized to plan and assign daily inmate schedules, in addition to inspecting completed work and providing guidance and instruction regarding the use of machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for documenting inmates’ attendance for compensation purposes and ensuring work assignments are properly completed.
Additional duties include maintaining inventory of all materials and tools used to complete projects and conducting searches of inmates and work areas as necessary to ensure that all materials and tools are accounted for. You will submit purchase requests for materials and tools as necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will need to exercise care, custody, and control over inmates at all times.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:
- Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; **or**:
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
**Legal Requirements**:
- You must pass a background investigation.
