Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Mid-Level Procurement Agent** to join our dynamic team in **Mesa, AZ **and join us on a journey that navigates one of the most complex supply chains in the world

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
- Issues Requests for Proposals/Quotes, performing proposal fact-finding and Price and Cost Analysis, developing negotiation strategies utilizing supplier cost & pricing data, contract terms and conditions and preparing contractual documents and binding agreements
- Manages supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and other key support to programs. In addition, the team will be responsible for driving for cultivating and maintaining the supplier relationship

**This position is for 1st shift.**

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. **To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. -120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- Experience negotiating directly with suppliers
- More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- More than 1 year of experience in leading and prioritizing request for proposals (RFP)
- More than 1 year of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher

**Typical Education/Experience**:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $74,800 - $92,400
