**UNCLE's Community Relations Specialist** will be responsible for building and managing relationships between UNCLE CU and the public. This position plans and executes on internal and external communication, with heightened focus on membership impact and long-term sustainability within our communities. This is an interactive and high visibility within the community role, offering ownership of corporate initiatives, events, and relationships across the counties we serve.

The job responsibilities include:

- Develop and manage a financial literacy business plan for UNCLE, addressing various aspects of our member’s personal finances and financial literacy/education.
- Lead UNCLE’s public relations and corporate social responsibility efforts including:

- UNCLE’s Volunteer Time-Off Program (VTO)
- Corporate donations and sponsorships
- Corporate communications and press releases
- Oversee partnerships between UNCLE CU and all community groups, chambers, city agencies, and other stakeholders to collaborate on initiatives, enhance UNCLE’s reputation, and foster positive relationships. Act as a main point of contact for:

- All chamber relations
- All city relations
- All academic relations (Las Positas College, Delta College, etc.)
- All seg-based relations (LLNL, St. Joseph’s Hospital, etc.)
- Plan, execute, and lead all community events, seminars/webinars, and other outreach initiatives to engage with members and other local organizations.
- Monitor, track, and analyze member/community feedback to provide insights and recommendations to improve community relations strategies.

This position has flexible working hours and is considered hybrid with up to 2 days a week remote work, depending on community relations events and responsibilities. This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing.
