**Position Overview**

The Catering & Events Coordinator supports the catering and events team by working closely with the back of house and front of house teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure that catering and events needs are met through excellent coordination and communication. This position is responsible for the administration of catering software platforms, coordination of small events, data entry, proofing of event orders and detailing functions, signage and labels, meeting room bookings and assisting with daily catering and event functions. This position will help enable amazing catering and event experiences.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation: $27-$29 per hour + Bonus Potential + Restricted Stock Units

This position also includes our exceptional benefits package.

**Essential Duties**

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Administers the Catering and Events Software (s), Caterease and Zuppler.
- Accepts, reviews, confirms, and adjusts catering and event orders accurately.
- Details and scripts events in Catering & Event management software.
- Provides quality service at all times.
- Assists with coordination of events.
- Manages catering and events calendars.
- Books internal meeting spaces on behalf of customers.
- Assists in coordination of company sponsored catering events; including, but not limited to, logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and facility-related activities.
- Reviews and performs a check on all catering and event BEOs.
- Creates accurate signage and labels for caterings and events. Completes prep work in advance of catering events.
- Provides on-the-floor coverage to assist with catering & event operations.
- Complies with sanitation and safety standards within food services.
- Coordinates and provides communication updates to key stakeholders.
- Supports process improvement initiatives with the culinary team.
- Ability to promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support teams to reach common goals.
- Ability to manage issues and action items by collaborating directly with team members to ensure completion.

- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
- Ability to work seated for approximately 30% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
- Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
- Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
- Ability and means to travel 30% between Madison locations.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Associates Degree; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of relevant work experience in a catering, food service or event coordination or other role related to the essential duties of this position.
- Demonstrated ability to track detail and coordinate multiple tasks both owned individually and by others.
- Demonstrated success with oral and written communications, results orientation, facilitation, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed.
- No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents
