**Job description**

**Motor Purchasing/Dispatch**

**In this role, you will**:

- Prepare motor and motor parts purchase orders and follow up with the appropriate suppliers to ensure all orders are confirmed and received
- Act as liaison between suppliers and other relevant internal departments on purchasing processes and activities
- Monitor and advise on any issues with timely product delivery
- Monitor daily stock levels and adjust accordingly
- Working closely with leading outboard motor manufacturers and dealers
- Prepare reports and updates as needed
- Coordinate and schedule the movement of freight and shipments
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status

**Role Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years’ experience as a Purchasing Agent in marine industry
- Associates degree is preferred but not required
- Highly organized and passionate about purchasing
- High level of personal integrity
- Must work 5 days a week from office location - **this role is not available remotely**:

- Strong technology skills required, including Microsoft Excel
- Direct Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience
- Experience working in a collaborative, fast paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to execute against multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaborative technologies like Microsoft Teams
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and update databases

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
