Your primary duties will include community outreach, media marketing, coordinate special events and weekly activities for our Independent and Assisted Living residents, assist with monthly newsletter, and conduct new resident orientation sessions for our Independent, and Assisted Living residents.

**Duties**:

- Develop, schedule and implement activity programming for Willows, Independent, and Assisted Living.
- Provide input, write articles, and assist with layout of monthly newsletter and other publications.
- Coordinate special events and weekly activity, dietary, and maintenance work orders for Willows, Independent, and Assisted Living.
- Research, develop and coordinate resident outings and arrange transportation. (Dining out, entertainment, programs, and classes)
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Conduct new resident orientation sessions for Willows, Independent, and Assisted Living residents.
- Create community outreach opportunities for residents.
- Train, schedule, and supervise volunteers and interns in Independent and Assisted Living.
- Cross-train with Life Enrichment Director and other staff to ensure seamless operations during absences.
- Work with Director of Marketing to provide content for website and social media outlets
- Coordinate service with Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Martin Health Center to ensure maximum resident participation.
- Drive residents for a variety of events outside the village (daytime, evening, and weekends).
- Update campus television station with current information.
- Attend educational meetings planned for this position.
- Serve on Westminster Village committees as requested.
- Answer general questions regarding Westminster Village and direct individuals to the appropriate department for further information as needed.
- Familiarize oneself with locations and use of firefighting equipment, alarms, and disaster procedures.
- Operate Life Enrichment programming in a cost-effective manner and stay within budget.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays

**Requirements**:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. Training in event planning/implementation is a plus. Previous work experience working with the senior population. Good driving record and a valid driver’s license. Must obtain a J05 driving license within 6 months of hire. Applicant must pass background screening per Westminster Village policy.
