**General Purpose**:
The Customer Service Specialist works directly with the Account Managers to support the needs of our customers on a daily basis.

**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Works as a team with assigned Account Manager to support the day to day order management for assigned customers. This includes but is not limited to tender acceptance, order entry, appointment scheduling (re-scheduling), load tracking, communication with customers, EDI status update processing, detention monitoring, accessorial processing and payment issue resolution.
- Interact with Planners and Fleet Managers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries and communicate any potential issues to customers
- Interact with other departments as needed to support customer activities

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Weekly Revenue by Customer
- On Time Delivery Performance
- Order Lead Time
- Deadhead Percentage
