**SUMMARY**:While a job description may not fully encompass every detail of a position, the purpose of the following is to provide an outline of goals, responsibilities, ability and knowledge required in order to successfully perform this job. The Receptionist/Accounts Payable role provides clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of Aquafil USA. General supervision of the position is exercised by the supervisor for invoice processing.

**OVERALL GOALS**
- Maintain professionalism while handling general accounts payable duties, reception duties, and general office tasks.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all procedures and systems involved with account payable and general office procedures.
- Maintain people and business skills to provide excellent internal and external customer service and work as a team to build solid working relationships.
- Follow all safety rules for department and entire facility

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Processes accounts payable checks according to established procedures.
- Answers vendor inquiries in a timely manner and works efficiently to resolve issues.
- Maintains accounts payable reports and files according to established procedures.
- Assists Corporate Financial Officers as necessary.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Assists in other duties and projects as assigned.
- Welcomes visitor by greeting them in person or on the phone; answering or referring inquires
- Maintains security by following Aquafil procedures (including C-PTAT guidelines); monitoring visitor log; issuing badges, and parking lot guidelines.
- Receives and sorts daily mail.
- Orders front office supplies.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed.
- Maintains front office coffee station.
- Be aware of Aquafil's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy (see supervisor if further explanation is needed).
- Regular hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a business setting, preferably in Accounting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: E-mail, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
