**Purpose of Role**

Pure Dance Works impacts over 300 students in weekly group classes and requires a Welcome Concierge to keep our front office in check and reliably complete behind-the-scenes tasks.

We are looking for an exceptional and committed professional willing to go above and beyond; you will handle administrative duties and shine a light into our family’s lives, providing an enchanting experience for everyone who enters the door.

This role aims to welcome our studio community wholeheartedly, actively seeking to delight staff and customers and working to retain them.

We are looking for someone responsible, extremely reliable, organized, with good leadership skills and experience, self-motivated, an outstanding communicator, and a dedicated team player. You will be working in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the CEO’s vision for the Company by ensuring the day-to-day running of the studio is on track and running smoothly, providing an excellent customer experience, and ensuring that staff, parents, and students have the supplies and information they need.

**How Your Success Will Be Measured | Main Responsibilities & Outcomes**

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer. You will associate with children and parents daily and support the teaching staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the studio:

- Maintain a genuinely positive and energetic disposition; your energy sets the tone for everyone who passes through the lobby.
- Greet students and parents and answer the phone. Actively welcome and engage families to create connections and drive retention.
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the studio and thoroughly understand the website, class options, pricing, policies, dress code, and enrollment.
- Support for teachers by providing information and material on time.
- Handle daily mail intake and distribution, discarding packing material.
- Track inventory of retail items, office and cleaning supplies.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials.
- Provide a hospitable environment by ensuring a clean and tidy venue.
- Maintain tidy exterior and interior entryways, lobby, restrooms, halls, cubbies, and studios.
- Launder cleaning cloths.
- Decorate the lobby seasonally.
- Open and close the building with attention to comfort, safety, and cost-saving measures.
- Retail sales: Organize, display, fit, sell, and order items as needed.
- Create a consistent shock and awe in the student experience.
- Prepare surprise items for students at pre-determined times to make them feel welcome, excited, and at ease.
- Send postcards for to students for various life events.
- Prepare promotion certificates and materials to celebrate students’ progress.
- Recognize exceptional behavior posting Star Student in the lobby.
- Reach out to absent students to check in and see if everything is alright.
- Assist the COO regarding rehearsals and performances to provide an organized and welcoming experience for staff, students, and the audience.
- Assist with costume measuring, sizing, sorting, distribution, alterations, and exchanges.
- Assist with organizing, preparing, and distributing items related to the performance.
- Assist in liaising with venue contacts, managing volunteers, load in, setting up, backstage and lobby procedures, load out, tidying the studio after returning items used in the theater.

- Level up professional development and team connection by participating in all team training.

- Attend monthly online meetings
- Attend semi-annual team retreats
- Attend quarterly 1:1 meetings with the COO
