**Toddler Classroom Teachers**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Management**:Oversee the daily flow of the classroom, ensuring a structured yet dynamic environment that encompasses educational programs, creative activities, scheduled meals, and routine hygiene practices.
- **Educational Development**: Foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that encourages every child to achieve their fullest potential. Actively engage in the creation of enriching learning experiences aligned with curriculum goals.
- **Individualized Attention**:Utilize assessment tools to monitor progress and craft bespoke lesson plans aimed at promoting development across all fundamental areas.
- **Special Needs Support**:Collaborate with specialists to provide tailored support to children with special needs, ensuring classroom inclusivity. This includes contributing to strategy meetings, tracking progress, and maintaining open lines of communication with families and other professionals.
- **Progress Tracking**:Maintain up-to-date records of children's developmental milestones and provide regular progress reports.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure that classroom operations are in strict compliance with EEC and Bureau of Nutrition standards, including maintaining accurate records for attendance, nutrition, and health and safety protocols.
- **Parental Engagement**:Act as a liaison between the school and families, facilitating parent-teacher conferences to discuss assessments and educational strategies. Encourage parental involvement through community events like family nights and various school functions.
- **Classroom Upkeep**:Manage the physical space of the classroom to ensure a clean, organized, and safe learning environment, and communicate any needs for maintenance.
- **Professional Development**:Participate in broader school activities, including staff meetings, event planning, and personal professional growth opportunities.
- **Team Communication**:Uphold a spirit of professionalism and collaborative communication within the school staff to foster a supportive educational community.

This role is designed for those passionate about guiding young learners during their formative years and eager to contribute to a team that values education, community, and the well-being of every child.

Qualifications:

- Meet the EEC minimum hiring requirements for Toddler Certification
- CDA (Child Development Associate) or willing to get a CDA within 6 months of hire

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
