Field Maintenance Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sort and organize linen by weight and bed size each morning.
- Restock warehouse shelves with clean linen from the logistics driver.
- Check warehouse management software for last-minute bookings and order requests.
- Pack and fulfill last-minute requests and restock items.
- Wash unique pillows, blankets, and comforters as needed.
- Troubleshoot inaccuracies in daily orders.
- Weigh and sort inbound dirty laundry for consistency; log all inbound items.
- Assist with operations and logistic requests and emergency out-of-office tasks.
- Inbound shipments, organize and declutter the warehouse.
- Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes from shipments.
- Sort and reclaim stained regular wash items.
- Order and restock warehouse items; fold linen, towels, and blankets.
- Communicate with logistic team members for supplies and ensure all deliveries and restock items are picked up.
- Process returns for broken items and assist logistics drivers with pending deliveries and tasks.
- Handle end-of-day closure tasks, including processing returns, verifying order accuracy, and preparing orders for the next day.
- Troubleshoot pending orders and order out-of-stock items.
- Assist with administrative-related tasks.
- Provide feedback on recurring issues, suggesting areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Must know basic English and able to read and write in English.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, especially with linen management, is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and home repair.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required by warehouse operations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to various field locations.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 45lbs.
- Full-time position with varying hours based on operational needs.
- Primarily warehouse environment with occasional off-site tasks.
- Physical demands include lifting, sorting, and moving linen and other items.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

- 1 year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- In-person
- Outdoor work
- Warehouse
