Head of Compliance

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Regulatory Compliance and Technical Compliance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and industry standards.
- **Technical Compliance Oversight**: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical compliance programs, ensuring all gaming products and services meet regulatory and technical standards.
- **Regulatory Compliance Management**: Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and advising on necessary adjustments.
- **Project Management**: Lead and manage compliance-related projects, ensuring timely and effective completion while balancing commercial objectives and regulatory requirements.
- **Client Interaction**: Serve as the primary compliance contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring client expectations are met.
- **Internal Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, product development, and executive teams, to ensure comprehensive compliance strategies and practices.
- **Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks, developing robust risk management frameworks and practices.
- **Policy Development**: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated and enforced across the organization.
- **Training and Education**: Provide ongoing training and education to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications in compliance or related disciplines are preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in compliance roles, with a significant portion in technical compliance within the online gaming or related industry.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of technical compliance requirements, including software certification, data security, and system integrity.
- **Regulatory Expertise**: Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards, including AML, GDPR, and other pertinent regulations.
- **Project Management Skills**: Proven experience in managing complex projects, with the ability to balance technical requirements and commercial objectives.
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong client-facing presence.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to navigate internal politics and foster collaborative relationships across the organization.

- Experience in a senior compliance role within the online gaming industry.
