**SUMMARY**: The Human Resources Administrator (HRA) performs administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resources office. They are responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations and provides administrative support to the Directors and the Human Resources Generalist as needed. The HRA serves as a back up to the Front Desk as needed. The HRA must be compliant with all Company Policies and keep all employee records and actions confidential.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Generalist (HRG) and Directors as needed.
- Processes EDD claims and audits as needed.
- Responds to Verification of Employment.
- Assists with new hire orientations and the onboarding process.
- Processes required paperwork for employee status changes, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
- Updates job descriptions.
- Assists with compliance items such as completing, verifying and maintaining I-9 documentation and Applicant Data Record forms.
- Gathers data for EEO 1 report and annual Affirmative Action Plan.
- Posts Team Member’s Birthdays and Anniversaries on Company Intranet. Sends e-cards as appropriate.
- Assists with the coordination of benefit enrollments with Insurance Carriers.
- Assists with online background checks including fingerprinting process for public sector hires.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Supports the Talent Acquisition department by assisting with special projects.
- Process employee referrals.
- Performs other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by supervisor.

**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION**:

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Quick Books
- Current experience with a fully integrated HR System such as ADP
- Associate degree in Human Resources or HR Certification
- A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1+ year of experience as a Human Resources Assistant or Coordinator
