We’re the New Terminal One (NTO) at John F. Kennedy International Airport, a bold and exciting project to develop a world class, international terminal that can serve as a global

gateway to the New York metropolitan area and the greater United States. The $9+ billion first phase is the largest single asset project financing in US history.

It will be built on sites now occupied by Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and the former Terminal 3, where it will anchor JFK’s south side. Construction will take place in phases, with the first

phase, including the new arrivals and departures hall and first set of new gates, expected to open in 2026.

NTO will set a new standard for design and service and aspires to obtain a global Top 5 Skytrax rating as one of the finest ten airport terminals in the world.

**Who you are**:
You proactive Director of Airport IT Cybersecurity, entrusted with the critical task of formulating and executing robust cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the digital assets, infrastructure, and sensitive data of the airport. Your role encompasses oversight of cybersecurity programs spanning both Terminal and Enterprise networks, requiring a blend of strong leadership skills, technical prowess in cybersecurity, and a track record of successful management within the aviation sector.

- Develop and drive the airport's cybersecurity strategy, vision, and roadmap, aligning with aviation industry standards.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to senior airport leadership on cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies specific to the aviation sector.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain proactive cybersecurity measures.
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry best practices.
- Oversee cybersecurity risk management processes, including assessment, prioritization, and mitigation strategies tailored to the airport environment.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to address cybersecurity compliance requirements and respond to audits.
- Direct the operation of the airport's cybersecurity program, including security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Lead the development and implementation of security controls, technologies, and processes to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats.
- Ensure timely investigation and resolution of cybersecurity incidents to minimize disruptions to airport operations.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the airport cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top cybersecurity talent with specialized expertise in aviation cybersecurity.
- Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness and training programs for airport personnel and stakeholders.
- Ensure understanding of roles and responsibilities in safeguarding digital assets and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

- Experience in the aviation industry and with regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Expertise in IT/OT security and disaster recovery planning.
- Financial acumen is advantageous.

This role will be reporting into the CIO.

**Where will you work**:
We are located in Building 111 in Jamacia Queens. As NTO progresses towards its operational phase, your role will transition to the vibrant and dynamic environment of JFK International Airport.
