World Bioproducts is seeking to hire an Accounting Assistant with a sharp attention to detail who will be responsible for assisting in the processes of Accounts Payable (AP), inventory, production accounting, and general ledger. From day one, our Accounting Assistants benefit from a team-oriented environment and are given hands-on accounting responsibilities that require the ability to be independently productive while also collaborative.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness to ensure purchase order matching, proper approval, coding and posting to the accounting system (Microsoft NAV 365).
- Accurately code and post vendor invoices for Non-PO Goods into Microsoft NAV 365.
- Track, reconcile and code all FedEx Ground and LTL Freight entries, accruing invoices as necessary.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the FedEx Ground and LTL Freight reconciliation.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and research/resolve outstanding issues.
- Request missing invoices from vendors for items on the Received Not Invoiced report.
- Work with AP Lead on posting and payment of vendor invoices.
- Monthly Sales Tax Reconciliation between Avalara and NAV 365.
- Posting Monthly Sales Tax payments and confirmations.
- Perform assigned GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Conduct physical cycle-counts to ensure quantity on hand in both finished goods and raw materials locations are accurate and reconciled as necessary.
- Verify the PO Receiving Log has been posted in Microsoft NAV 365.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Lead or Controller.

**About You/Minimum Job Requirements**:

- Required: Associate degree in accounting
- Preferred: BA/BS in accounting or related business field from an accredited four-year college or university
- Preferred: One or more years of relevant work experience
- Required: Comfort working with Microsoft Office Suite, including familiarity with Excel
- Required: Strong mathematical and computer skills
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
