Amazing Explorers Academy is a new concept in pre-school learning that is setting a higher standard for early childhood education. Our company is currently experiencing rapid expansion both via franchising and corporate-owned locations in Texas, Florida and eventually, nationwide.

The entire Amazing Explorers Academy preschool experience is designed to provide the youngest among us with a “vision of the future” via a truly innovative early learning environment that is unlike any other. It was created by a taskforce of leading thinkers in a broad range of multidisciplinary fields including university professors, technology experts and community leaders. They realized that early childhood is the critical moment when humans are most open to learning and exploration. **STEAM Exploration**

Unlike many traditional preschools that simply provide basic daycare, each Amazing Explorers Academy location is expressly formulated to deliver a comprehensive educational curriculum that inspires both “confidence” and “passion” in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) at the earliest possible age. Aside from having a dedicated STEAM activity area that is central to the school’s design, these topics are incorporated into every possible situation, from the guided “play” of the youngest learners to the “project-based learning” of older students. The result is better problem solving, more creativity, openness to collaboration and enhanced critical thinking. These are just some of the essential “life skills” that our Amazing Explorers Academy parents are truly excited about when they decide to enroll their children at one of our locations.

Amazing Explorers Academy is constantly innovating in terms of facilities, curriculum, safety, programming, and team development. We are committed to using advanced technology in every possible aspect of our business, from the in-class cameras that give both parents and staff a sense of security and transparency, to our custom AEA mobile app which promotes better teacher-parent communication about important daily events, achievement and student milestones. We are reducing paperwork, classroom clutter and waste by moving old-fashioned forms or reports to modern electronic versions. And, we are implementing advanced online systems for staff training, onboarding and daily school management, thereby ensuring that every member of our team has every possible resource to be Amazing, right at their fingertips.

**Job Description | Director**

**RESPONSIBLE TO **Area Manager and/or Owner of the School

**JOB SUMMARY **The core role of Director is the day-to-day management of every aspect of one of our unique Amazing Explorers Academy locations, ensuring that all elements of the innovative curriculum, comprehensive childcare approach and staff development process are implemented in accordance with AEA corporate standards as well as the guidelines of all State, Federal and Local regulatory agencies. This involves broad oversight of every age group and every classroom, including in our unique STEAM experience area, outdoor playground and other on-site amenities.

**JOB DUTIES, TASKS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Operations and Financial**
- Day to day school management
- Hiring and staffing
- Onboarding, training and evaluations
- Curriculum implementation
- Budgets and purchases
- Tuition and payroll management
- Manage filing and documentation
- Quality control
- Substitute for all roles (front desk, cook, driver, etc.)

**Sales and Marketing**
- Events management
- Local community outreach
- Customer acquisition and retention
- Tours and followup
- Registration and enrollment
- Monthly newsletter
- Social media posts

**Compliance**
- Child care state regulations
- Staffing regulations
- Classroom ratios
- AEA policies and procedures
- Safety and incident reports
- Reports abuse/neglect
- Monthly fire drills
- Quarterly emergency evacuation drills

**Facilities**
- Playground and equipment inspections
- Fire inspection
- Fire extinguisher yearly inspections
