Our Commerce, CA office is looking for a dedicated AP Supervisor to lead our Accounts Payable operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and effective management of all payable activities.
- **Position Summary**:_
As an AP Supervisor at Alpine Corporation, you will oversee the entire accounts payable process, manage payable updates and system enhancements, and lead a team that includes remote employees based in the Philippines. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial health and operational efficiency through diligent oversight of payable activities, adherence to policies, and continuous improvement of processes.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the accounts payable process including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor reconciliation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounts payable professionals, including two remote employees based in the Philippines, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Enhance and maintain payable processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure that the accounts payable team works closely and effectively with our Philippines office, which operates on our time zone, to streamline processes and maintain consistent communication.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of all payments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any payment or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial practices and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations related to accounts payable.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and contribute to financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding payable processes.
- **Qualifications**_:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote teams.
- Proficiency in accounts payable software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English, to effectively collaborate with teams across global offices.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and enhance system efficiencies.
- **Work Environment**:_
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
