**Responsibilities**:
1. Assisting tailors in measuring, fitting, and altering garments according to customer specifications.

2. Preparing sewing machines, tools, and equipment for tailoring tasks.

3. Operating sewing machines and performing basic stitching, hemming, and repairs.

4. Assisting with fabric cutting and preparation.

5. Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

6. Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

7. Collaborating with the tailoring team to ensure timely completion of orders.

8. Keeping track of inventory, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed.

9. Staying updated on the latest fashion trends, sewing techniques, and tailoring methods.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a tailor's assistant or a similar role is preferred.

2. Solid knowledge of sewing machines, tools, and garment construction techniques.

3. Proficiency in basic sewing skills such as stitching, hemming, and alterations.

4. Attention to detail and a keen eye for measurements and garment fitting.

5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Passion for fashion and a genuine interest in tailoring and garment alterations.

8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.

9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak periods.
