Assembly Technicians will report directly to the Manufacturing Leader. This position will perform repetitive bench assembly operations and coining/forming operations to produce medical implants. This position also requires flexibility to assist in other production departments, if requested. This position will also drive parts for delivery or pickup daily.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Performs various tasks to assemble fixtures
- Reviews work order instructions and work router for details and information specific to the product being assembled.
- Works at different operator stations and on different operations as production needs require.
- Operate small press to coin or form material to be used in assembly operation.
- Drive company van to deliver and pickup parts on a daily basis.
- Meets department standards for efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Maintains punctual and regular attendance for regularly scheduled work hours.
- Driving parts as needed

**Education and/or Experience**
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Entry Level Position
- Clean Driving Record Required

**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use a variety of tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
- Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide..
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

**Environmental & Physical Demands**
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
- Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (5-10 lbs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)
- Occasional exposure to loud noise
