**Venice Family Clinic is a community health center that provides quality health care to people in need. Our providers are committed to the populations we serve and to the mission of the clinic. Under the leadership of the Chief Medical Officer, the Venice Family Clinic Nurse Practitioner evaluates, treats, and makes appropriate diagnostic and specialty referrals for our patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the RNP works cooperatively with peers on medical management issues, changes in medical practice and procedures, and the design of more effective and efficient service delivery. The RNP reports to the Associate Medical Director. The RNP is an integral part of the clinic staff, providing leadership and expertise on medical and patient care issues. Because the Venice Family Clinic has a large volunteer program, the RNP has a unique role in orienting and providing technical support to the volunteer medical providers. This responsibility includes providing a positive role model, ensuring that volunteers understand Venice Family Clinic procedures and providing continuity of care for patients. The RNP works cooperatively all Clinic departments including nursing, pharmacy, clinic coordinators, and Behavioral Health staff. The position requires flexibility in days and hours for clinical care, as some evening are included in the weekly schedule. This is a 100% position.***

**Salary range: $80.78-$115.37/ hourly**

**Qualifications**

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing with MSN/DNP with a FNP Specialty - required.
Current, valid CA Nurse Practitioner License and CA RN

BLS certification from AHA or ARC -required
Demonstrated skill in delivery of patient care -required
Demonstrated work experience over 2 years in family practice or internal

Working knowledge of State of California clinic licensing requirements

Demonstrated experience in supervising and training clinic
