Unit Description:
Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, located in Inglewood, California (near Los Angeles) a 362 bed acute care hospital.

This is a full-time position and will be responsible for supporting the inpatient population

Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually.

**Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, this Registered Dietitian will**:

- Have at least 3 years or more prior experience in an acute care setting and be flexible and willing to work in all areas of the hospital;
- be responsible for conducting nutrition care and patient assessments to the patient population with a variety of disease states as needed utilizing Meditech charting;
- work well with physicians, nursing, ancillary staff; to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently and be outcome focused.
- Registered Dietitian credentials;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and
- the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with mínimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
