Job Summary:
Responsibilities will be as follows:

- Assist in bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Assists in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Check work for accuracy
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
- Scan documents such as receipts into computer system
- Comply with data integrity and security policies

Job Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or similar role (preferred but not required)
- Steady work background (ability to maintain tenure at one company)
- Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, QuickBooks
- Detail Oriented in a Must
- Must be comfortable working with deadlines
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent Telephone skills, including texting
- Ability to use good judgment
- Must be able to Multi-task
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation purposes
- Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and regulations
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish

We are a small growing company but are extremely busy and need to hire an individual with savvy computer skills, a quick learner, a self-starter and can deliver results. Business casual attire is required, uniform will be provided. The office hours are from 8 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with 30 minute paid lunch if taken in office if out of office it will be non paid 30 minute lunch break.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
