**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the preparation, evaluation, justification, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, and budgetary controls
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to communicate financial results to management
- Liaison with and support other departments and cross-functional teams
- Assist in the production of periodic financial reports
- Assist with data integrity
- Collaborate with the team to achieve collective goals and contribute to related initiatives
- Support internal audit function
- Follow the best practices of finance and accounting standards
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
- Assist with accounting functions (AR/AP) and backup roles as needed
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

**Requirements**:

- Working experience in QuickBooks required
- Professional Experience using Microsoft Excel in preparing finanical reports
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, with a BS in Finance or Accounting field from an accredited University
- GAAP proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and take ownership of projects to see them through to completion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Government contract accounting experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated a history of problem-solving
