Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Reporting Analyst


The primary purpose of this position is to develop management financial reporting and analysis; preparation of the annual financial plan/budget and recurring forecasts reporting and provide a basis for sound financial decision-making through quantitative financial analyses. The Analyst will work closely with business unit personnel as well as senior management in performing these functions.


Essential Job Functions:


• Prepare executive financial reporting distributed to senior management. Includes working with business and Finance team in analyzing financial results for revenues and key volume indicators, business and technology expenses, cash flows and headcount to prepare variance explanations for actuals versus forecast and budget.

• Conduct review of monthly financial reports with business lines

• Advise and collaborate with business during the preparation of the annual financial plan/budget and forecasts to ensure that process requirements are communicated and met.

• Partner with business and Finance in establishing detailed budgets and forecasts.

• Analyze recurring forecasts using revenue and expense run rates, knowledge of macroeconomic and other business factors which drive business volume and knowledge of business unit initiatives.

• Assist in the preparation of business justifications and financial projections related to new initiatives.

• Prepare headcount and turnover analyses.

• Perform various other analytics.


Education/Experience Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of 5 years work experience in a financial environment.

• Advanced proficiency with Excel and use of various financial and planning related applications, Workday/Adaptive experience preferred.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
