**SUMMARY**
Work’s on keeping the facilities clean and safe for the employees. Assists with the warehouse when necessary. Performs the following duties:
**WORK HOURS**
Normal work schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a half hour lunch break.
Occasionally, during our busy season, additional hours may be required to meet our business needs.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction and support of co-workers and management team members
- Resupplies consumables in the facilities.
- Empties trash and recycling containers as needed.
- Water shrubs and flowers, trims weeds, rakes, cut grass at facilities.
- Snow removal in winter. Shoveling and making sure certain areas are salted around the facilities.
- Light building maintenance: carpentry, minor electric, minor plumbing.
- Washes/maintains company vehicles.
- Offers facilities support.
- Assists with warehouse duties.
- Occasionally drives parts to customer location for service technicians and installation team. Also picks up parts at vendor warehouses to deliver to service.
- Assists in distributing all appliances and parts to appropriate locations/personnel.
- Operates forklift for some deliveries.
- Maintains a clean warehouse including breaking down cardboard, removing trash, and sweeping.
- Runs errands with company vehicle when necessary.
- Maintains a safe Driving Record.
- Performs other tasks assigned by manager to provide general support to company operations.
- Maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values at all times.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES ** This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
**QUALIFICATIONS **To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. **SAFETY **Working safely is a condition of employment. Employees shall verbally report and photograph all crashes / injuries to their Manager immediately. If your manager is not available, report the crash / injury to the Safety Director, another Manager, or Human Resource Manager.
For your safety, the company has Samsara dash cameras in all company vehicles.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to pass CETP 1.0 which is the Basic Principles of Propane.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS **Must speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
**REASONING ABILITY **Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS **The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
