**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Conduct performance testing per standardized testing protocols.
- Responsible for sample preparation and submitting samples for testing.
- Diligently document experimental protocol and data and ensure invention records are properly prepared and support the Director of Technology in patent submittals and invention documentation.
- Promote the Locus brand / profile via the development of technical literature, active participation in industry organizations or technical societies, and customer interaction.
- Incorporate safe work procedures in all processes while maintaining a safe work environment in the lab.
- Follow SOP's and protocols to maintain product quality.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Material Science, or a similar field of study.
- Travel requirement: 10%

**Preferred Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience in industrial surfactant or oilfield chemical companies.
