**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Checking, modifying, and creating CNC files to be ran on shop machines.
- Modifying CNC files to ensure that they adhere to established programming standards and practices.
- Verifying that CNC files accurately reflect shop drawings.
- Coordinating with machine operators, shop personnel, and detailers to develop and test new programming standards and practices. Creating and maintaining documentation of new and existing programming practices.
- Coordinating with production to ensure that CNC files are released in a timely manner in accordance with fabrication schedules.
- Verifying that shop drawings are not missing critical information related to fabrication.
- Collaborating with different roles to communicate and resolve issues. Maintaining documentation cataloging detailing and CNC issues.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong general computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to learn and retain knowledge.
- Steel fabrication industry experience. _(preferred)_
- Knowledge of CAD and CAM software. _(preferred)_
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings. _(preferred)_
- Can organize and process a large workload.
- Skilled at troubleshooting issues with machine/computer software.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong mathematics skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
