Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Reservations Agent. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to travelers and guests looking for lodging and dining in the Smoky Mountain area. This is a great opportunity to utilize your excellent communication skills and contribute to the success of our organization & join a growth-minded company with unlimited professional potential.
**Duties**:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, and inquiries
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Upsell products or services to customers when appropriate
- Maintain customer records and update information as needed
- Follow call center scripts and guidelines to ensure consistent service delivery
- Resolve customer complaints or issues with patience and empathy
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals
**Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desired
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to actively listen and respond effectively
- Sales experience or aptitude for upselling products or services is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult or irate customers professionally
- Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is advantageous but not required
- Must be fluent in English; additional fluency in Spanish or any other language is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
