**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities for residents in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
- Coordinate and manage the daily schedule of activities for residents.
- Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Plan and execute special events, outings, and social gatherings for residents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a stimulating and engaging environment for residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with documentation and record keeping related to resident participation in recreational activities.

**Skills**:

- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Knowledge of senior care and aging issues.
- Familiarity with memory care and dementia care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of residents, families, and staff members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Compassionate and patient approach when working with older adults.
- Understanding of social work principles and practices.
