Inventory Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Update and maintain inventory records in the database.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
- Coordinate with other departments to manage inventory needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or excess inventory.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized and clean at all times.
- Assist with packing and shipping orders as needed.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50) and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
