Unit Program Coordinator

**Duties**:
- Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions
- Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
- Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

- Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
- Employee must maintain current certifications

- In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
- **EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operation of an organization; knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. **Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.**

- 3. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment.
- 4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
- 5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
- 6. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
- **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED**:
Position is designated Special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. The incumbent will be vetted through NSA and must be obtain and maintain continued access to material, systems, facilities, and/or campus.
- **Drug Testing**:This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
- **Combination of Education and Experience**:A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
- **Education**: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
