Assembly Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Communicate with the Production Manager and provide updates on daily/weekly tasks and goals.
- Supervise employee activities while ensuring safety and high-quality standards are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Estimates resources and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
- Coach and mentor employees to improve performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met.
- Foster a positive work environment and build strong relationships with employees and other supervisors. Supervise employee activities while complying with safety and high-quality standards.
- Responsible for estimating staff and material requirements based on the production plan and sales forecasts.
- Implement production schedules to ensure targeted daily production volume is met. Establish and adjust procedures to meet the production schedule.
- Monitor equipment and performance in work areas to ensure production requirements are met. Coordinate with VP of Operations repairs and opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Ensure high levels of productivity and continuous improvement. Produce optimum output to exceed KPIs.
- Train new employees to enable them to assume the duties and responsibilities of their assigned positions. Promote a high level of performance, discipline, and morale.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of subordinates. Recommend and implement personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to lead and motivate staff.
- Detail-orientated
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent math skills
- Computer literate

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business or management preferred
- Industry and management experience a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
