SPATCO Energy Solutions has been the leader in the fueling infrastructure industry since 1935. We provide a complete line of equipment and services for storing, pumping, mixing and metering petroleum and industrial liquids. We offer turnkey development of retail and commercial facilities, as well as offering custom design and build capabilities. Our customers come from a variety of industries including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets. SPATCO currently operates 30 branch locations with a dedicated training facility in North Carolina, and growing service satellites throughout the Southeast. SPATCO is looking for a Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you play in intricate role in the success of a branch. You will organize, plan, direct and control the service department in such a way to meet company and customer objectives.

**Essential Functions**:
Hiring the necessary personnel and perform formal review and evaluations.
- Ensure that employees follow safety policies and procedures, and that necessary safety equipment is available.
- Manages the branch location as an income center to achieve income and expense targets.
- Participates in the development of goals.
- Overview the delivery of quality customer service at the branch through personal contract with customers and prospects.
- Participates in the development of branch performance and compliance with corporation policies and procedures.
- Monitors the knowledge and skill levels of branch personnel to identify development and training needs. Participates with corporate training personnel in the development of training programs as needed.
- Meets regularly with staff to communicate objectives and goals, branch operating status and employee input to improve branch performance so that high quality information flows in both directions.

**Experience, Competencies and Education**:
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings to accommodate training, monitoring and supervisor coverage as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Branch management experience, not required but a plus.
- Strong leadership skills to direct staff of up to 25 persons.
- Well-developed planning skills.
- Ability to listen and communicate well with employees and customers.
