Looking for a Full Time Controller - Accounting Professional

We are looking for someone who has a strong background in accounting that also has knowledge of real estate accounting.

Galactic Toys Responsibilities (2-3 days):

- Accounting functions within Quickbooks Online including Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable
- Reconciling monthly statements and correctly categorizing payables / expenses within quickbooks
- Organizing and fixing balance sheet and P&L
- Identifying and reducing unnecessary expenses
- Paying sales tax for each state that we ship or have a nexus in
- Assist with some HR functionality related to benefits, 401k etc.

Real Estate Responsibilities (2-3 days)
- Accounting functions within Quickbooks Online and Yardi for multiple commercial properties
- Assisting with paying expenses, depositing checks, accounting for multiple commercial properties.
- Assist with CAM reconciliation, Financial reports of real estate and other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field:

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred.
- Real Estate industry experience a plus
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems
- Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and social skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
