**At AlphaBest, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder As their **_guide_**, you'll help lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training. Choose from one of the sites below**:
**Locations**:
**National Cathedral
- 3612 Woodley Rd NEW DC Camp dates June 17-Aug 2- 7 weeks**
**St. Albans - 3001 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20016 - Camp Dates - 6-10-24 through 8-16-24 (10 weeks)**
**Camp Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Work hours 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm)**
- ** As a Summer Instructor, you'll be trained to do the following**:
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
- Facilitate the summer curriculum that is provided
- Have fun
**What you will need**:
- Experience leading a group of children in a structured or classroom setting
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, & Medication Administration (if you do not have these, we will provide training for you)
- Ability to communicate with both children and adults
- Reliability & Flexibility
- High School or GED Diploma
**Interested in working during the school year? **There is always the potential for summer employment to roll over into the school year as well
