**Echo Tech Per Diem Rotating Position Summary**

Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist.

Special Skills: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills.

**THE ECHO TECH PER DIEM ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.**

**MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.**

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.**

**REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.**

**PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: RDCS**
