**Echo Tech Per Diem Days Position Summary**

Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist.

**Special Skills**: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills.

**THE ECHO TECH PER DIEM DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.**

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**:Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.

**REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE**: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.

**PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION**:RDCS
