**Responsibilities**:

- Engage customers in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on lighting products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our product line, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
- Actively listen to customer requirements and offer suitable solutions that meet their budget and aesthetic preferences.
- Utilize sales techniques to drive revenue and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our QuickBooks and WMS systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adequately stocked with inventory and forecast items needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Organization skills to follow up with customers from sales orders to sending tracking information.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lighting industry or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enthusiastically loves learning and developing product knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with MS, QuickBooks, and WMS systems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a sales over-the-phone environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to take initiative and produce results.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to come up with practical actions to deal with issues.
