School Bus Drivers: Regular Full Routes, Subs

**Regular Full Route Driver duties**:Drive students from home to school & from school to home. Update bus route directions as needed. AM Hours usually start between 6am to 6:45am and end between 8:30am to 9:15am / PM Hours usually start at either 1:30pm or 1:50pm and end between 4:30pm to 5:15pm depending on the bus route. Full Route school bus drivers are guaranteed a minimum of 6 hours per day.

**Sports trip drivers duties**:Transport students from school to school sports competitions and back to school when finished. Hours will vary and are usually during the school week at the end of the school day around 1-3pm and returning back to the school anytime between 5-10pm depending on the sport and location of the event (could also include some weekends).

**Charter Trip Drivers duties**:May include local trips anytime or any day of the week. During the summer, trips may include transporting Daycares on day trips, weekend shuttles for weddings or local organizations needing transportation.

**Sub Drivers: (AM & PM as available) duties - **May be on call or give availability to dispatcher. Drive students from home to school or from school to home. Typed out directions for every bus run available. AM Hours usually start between 6am to 6:45am and end between 8:30am to 9:15am / PM Hours usually start at either 1:30pm or 1:50pm and end between 4:30pm to 5:15pm depending on the bus route.

- **FREE CDL Training **by CCPS Transportation Dept. (paid attendance **AFTER **working / Driving 180 full working days - **AM + PM = full working/driving day**)
- CDL Testing provided by CCPS Transportation Dept.
- Great Part-Time job for those available mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends
- Flexible work schedule - off when schools are closed - substitute positions available

- Earn paid sick time available for full regular route drivers (requirements must be met)
- All Bonus incentives are for full regular route drivers (requirements must be met)
- Accident Free Bonus is for full regular route drivers (requirements must be met)

**Will need**:

- Good, Clean Driving Record (every state license was held in past 10 years)
- No DUI, Suspensions, or failure to appear in court in past 10 years
- No more than 2 current points or combined 4 points in past 10 year period
- Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Criminal Background Check completed by CCPS
- Pass a one year school bus (DOT) physical & pre-employment drug screen - (we only use Carroll Occupational Health in Westminster for school bus physicals & we make the appointments)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 40 per week
