A quality control coordinator will oversee organizing and overseeing an organization's quality control procedures, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. This position will coordinate teams and activities, delegate tasks, conduct audits, set goals, establish guidelines, gather, and analyze client feedback, and develop strategies to optimize operations.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
- Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports.
- Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
- Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
- Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Providing departments with quality planning and support.
- Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.
- Writes and update procedures as required.
- Establishes and maintains quality forms.
- Assists with determining documentation requirements for specific orders based on contract requirements.
- Verifies that all applicable quality requirements are satisfied.
- Assists with review of supplier documents and records to verify compliance with contract requirements.
- Identifies quality issues and use root cause analysis to investigate any document issues.
- Directs interaction with key customers to address quality procedures as well as concerns. Clearly and professionally communicating response to incidents and improvement plans.
- Coordinates the maintenance and upkeep of Quality Management System documentation.
- Maintain a healthy line of communication between team members and management.
**Required Skills/Abilities**:
- Knowledge and understanding of the coding abstracting system used in the Medical Records Department for efficient data gathering.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
- Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy.
