We are looking for a **Fire Alarm Service Technician** to join our team** **Hourly pay ranges from **$40-60/hr.** depending on applicable skills and years of experience.** Flexible shift options of 4 tens or 5 eights work weeks.**

The **Fire Alarm Service Technician** is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. The Fire Alarm Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team, collaborating with customers, and other technicians to provide exceptional service.

**In this role you will**:

- Perform regular service, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems according to industry regulations, NFPA & NEC code requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, including control panels, programming, detectors, relays, notification devices, and wiring.
- Identify and replace faulty components, including sensors, batteries, and wiring, to ensure reliable system operation.
- Respond to service calls and emergency requests promptly, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and repairs performed on fire alarm systems.
- Collaborate with clients to provide information on system operation, maintenance schedules, and potential upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to fire alarm systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Two or more years of proven experience as a fire alarm service technician or similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Relevant certification(s) such as NICET or manufacturer-specific programming & installation certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm system components, wiring, and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid state issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
